Mary Cashin, Principal of Cashin & Associates graduated from University College Galway and qualified as a Solicitor in 1979. She subsequently completed a Diploma in Property Tax and trained as an Associate Arbitrator. She is a member of the Association of Collaborative Practitioners of Ireland and is a Family Law Mediator.
She was recently admitted to the Roll of Solicitors in England and Wales in April 2011.
She has been in full time practice since 1983 and established the firm of Cashin & Associates in Ennis in May 1990. and has developed an extensive knowledge and expertise in a number of areas of law including Family Law, Personal Injuries*, Medical Negligence, Mediation, Arbitration, Wills, Probate Law.

During her career, she successfully spearheaded the representation of in excess of 700 clients against the Irish Government in claims for arrears of Social Welfare payments under the Employment Equality Legislation securing for them substantial payments.
Mary has also gained extensive experience in representing Commercial and private clients in the purchase and sale of commercial and residential properties and has also acted on behalf of banks and borrowers in commercial transactions.
Mary has gained extensive expertise in Family Law during the course of her career and represents clients in
Ireland
and abroad in all areas of Family law including Divorce, Separation, Custody, Guardianship, Access, Maintenance and Mediated Settlements. She is particularily interested in Child Care cases and has been involved in a number of cases where she has acted as and represented Gaurdian ad Litems appointed by the Court to represent the interests of the child .She has extended her expertise in Family Law by becoming one of the first trained Family Lawyer Mediators in Ireland. As well as her ongoing court work, she can now offer a Mediation service (working as a neutral and impartial facilitator) which is uniquely informed by her extensive experience as a Family Lawyer and her extensive understanding of the Irish legal process.
Mary's other specialisation is in personal injury claims, accidents at work and medical negligence claims. Through the years she has become an experienced litigator and appears in all courts including including High Court, Circuit Court and District Court. The firm has successfully settled a number of substantial Medical Negligence claims and have also been involved in successfully processing claims arising from fatal accidents or injuries at work and caused by the negligence of a third party.
Mary is a member, and a former President, of the Clare Law Association and is a member of the Incorporated Law Society of Ireland. She has lectured on the

Sheila Lynch
,B.A. LL.B., graduated from the
University
of
Limerick
in 2002. She joined the team at Cashin and Associates in 2004 and her work covers a broad range of areas to include representing clients in Circuit and High Court Personal Injury cases, Medical Negligence, Family Law cases, Commercial and Property Disputes and Debt Collection matters.
She was admitted to the Roll of Solicitors in Ireland in 2006 and to the Roll of Solicitors in England and Wales in 2010.
Since the inception of the Injuries Board she has successfully settled a number of cases with them. She has acted for a wide range of individuals, building contractors and companies with regard to the acquisition and disposal of residential and commercial property including Letting Agreements, Commercial Leases and related matters.

Sheila has gained considerable experience in the area of Employment Law, advising both Employers and Employees which includes representing both Employers and Employees before the Employment Appeals Tribunals.
Having recently obtained a Diploma in Trust and Estate Planning from the Law Society of Ireland, Sheila now specialises in Wills Drafting, Estate and Taxation Planning, Probate and Administration of Estates, Enduring Powers of Attorney and Wardship Applications.
She has lectured part time in Contract Law and Constitutional Law with FEI-Direct at the
University
of
Limerick, a Preparatory Course for persons intending to sit the Law Society of Ireland Entrance Exams.
Sheila is currently a Director of the Clare Youth Service and also volunteers at the Free Legal Advice Centres at the Citizens' Information Centre in Ennis. She also regularly contributes to the Legal Advice Broadcasts on Clare FM Radio.

Grace Kelly B.Corp. Law., LL.B.
Grace Kelly B. Corp. Law., LL.B., graduated from the National University of Ireland, Galway with a Corporate Law degree in 2004 (B.Corp.Law). She completed her Bachelor of Laws Postgraduate Degree (LL.B.) in 2005 and joined the firm of Cashin & Associates in 2006 as an apprentice to Mary Cashin, Principal. She commenced her training as a Solicitor with the Incoporated Law Society of Ireland in 2006 and she successfully completed her Professional exams in 2009.
During the course of her studies for her LL.B., Degree Grace was a member of a Staff/Student Research Project at NUI Galway which researched the area of "Bioethics and the Law" subsequent to which research an article was published in the Irish Student Law Review.
During the course of a very busy apprenticeship Grace has gained extensive experience and currently practices in property transactions, Wills, Probate and Taxation law and Family law.
